In this seminar we will familiarize you with the basic steps for forming a new business entity, including important considerations in selecting and reserving a business name, jurisdictional terminology, and the registered agent requirement. We will use corporate and LLC formation documents for the state of Delaware as examples. We will also cover different types of business entity filings and document retrievals, including qualifications, amendments, dissolutions, good standing certificates, and more.
Lydia Duynstee, Esq. is a licensed attorney in California. She educates and consults with CT’s law firm and corporate clients on the west coast and in Texas. She is a subject matter expert in due diligence as it relates to the Uniform Commercial Code and lien and court services. She is also closely following and teaching on the Corporate Transparency Act and other corporate topics. She is fluent in Spanish and spends her free time traveling to Mexico and Holland, where her parents grew up.
